Rachel Bristow BA (hons) ABSM

Rachel graduated from Birmingham Conservatoire in 1991 with a BA (hons) in Music and a Diploma in Piano Teaching (ABSM). During her time at the Conservatoire she studied violin and piano as well as working at a local nursery leading music and movement classes. Since then, she has been active musician and teacher, conducting and accompanying choirs, teaching both piano and classroom music, and playing for assemblies and productions. For the past 14 years she has had the privilege of singing alto with The Warwickshire Singers, a choir bases in Kenilworth. Rachel loves composing and improvising and continues to develop herself as a musician as she believes a good teacher never stops learning. She has worked with children in many voluntary capacities and has a real fun loving heart, particularly enjoying puppets! Rachel lives in Warwickshire with her husband and two children.

  • “Jordan’s really grown in confidence over the past year – the group nights and concerts have played a huge part in stretching him and building up his self-belief. He even recently played at a carol service in front of a packed house, which he would never have done without your help!”
